This Old English Staffordshire trivet is
produced in Staffordshire, England exclusively
for the Vermont Division for Historic Preservation.
Using a traditional Staffordshire pink on white,
and utilizing old period engravings, it depicts
in its center the Bennington Battle Monument,
constructed in 1887-1891 to commemorate the Revolutionary
War Battle of Bennington. Can be used as a trivet
or as a decorative piece.
